Yesterday you would have likely seen the blog post about the Twitter conversation of the day. It was a conversation related to Paul Brislen’s tweet about an Ultra Fast Broad Band song. Since he included images of members of the Cabinet being recorded, the first thought that went through my mind was, oh god Ministers singing, this is going to be tragic. I think that is what went through James’s mind as well, hence his reply.
However, Paul was kind enough to link me to the final song, which is no where near as bad as I thought it would be.
Good on the Ministers for being willing to take part. The reason this came about was the completion, a head of time and on budget, roll out of UFB in the Whangarei area. I don’t suspect this song will get huge air play, but it is good that MPs and Ministers are willing to do things that I suspect are outside of their normal comfort areas.
