I have already blogged about party office holders and the fact that their social media posts can reflect badly on their party. This also applies to unsuccessful candidates for party nominations. If you have issues with the process, follow whatever internal party process that is available to you, but don’t go spouting on about it on social media.
I already know of at least one unsuccessful candidate who has been doing this on Twitter. I have screen grabs, if they are silly enough to keep doing it, they can expect a blog post about it. But I thought I would remind people who are unsuccessful candidates, even though you are not a candidate, you are still a representative of your party. If you are going to tweet about things, expect people to be watching.
