In the last few days I have been talking a lot about the quality of political debate in New Zealand. I am getting tired of politicians dropping to the level of the lowest common denominator. I normally have a lot of respect for Jan Logie, and most of the Greens in general. However today she has lowered my opinion of her, at the same time as lowering the level of the debate.
I will give her some credit for her “apology”, but the fact that she felt it was ok to go there, is not a good sign for the on going quality of the debate in NZ.
