What Disney character is Sarah Dowie?
I saw a post from one of the new MP’s Facebook pages yesterday. There was a comment on there from someone who is a bit of a blast from my past. So I decided to try and find the MP’s Facebook profile and see if they were friends. What I found on the Facebook page was even more interesting.
Now I understand that some MPs would like to keep their Facebook profiles private. But if you are going to do that, what is still visible should be sending a professional image. Well I don’t think this particular MP has achieved that. What I found was the following:
Ex-MPs: Updated or not?
I blogged the other day about Claudette Hauiti not updating her Twitter profile to reflect the fact that she is no longer an MP. This morning I got a tip off about another former National MP who hasn’t updated their Twitter Bio. So I thought I would use it as a reason to check as many of the outgoing MPs Twitter bios as I could. I have used this list as my reference, plus Labour MPs who did not return on the list. If I have left anyone off, let me know. Accounts that have been closed are disregarded.

Hauiti – To the last
I am sure we all remember Claudette Hauiti and the fact that she stood down as a candidate in the lead up to the election following revelations that she had incorrectly used her parliamentary perks. Well it looks like she is still claiming, at least on her Twitter profile, that she is a National List MP:
