Lately it has looked a bit like those behind the Labour social media accounts have been trying too hard. We all know what it is like when you have a bad run of form, and you keep trying to do things well, sometimes it doesn’t work. In those situations it is best to go back to basics. It looks like that might be what the Labour Party have done today. On David Cunliffe’s Twitter account they have posted an image that is very much a back to basics, positive post.
Sure there are some things that could be worked on. The images are a little dark, it would also be good to see a bit more of David’s face. But the fact they are going back to basics and being positive is a good sign.
I do also like the use of the fish and chips pun.
