Since the election there have been a number of successful, and unsuccessful, candidates who have been out thanking voters. It is a good thing to do. Some have done better jobs than others. One in particular has not done a very good job at all. Today he posted a photo on Facebook that contains VERY bad Photoshop work:
It is set to friends only, but I got a tip off about it. (hence the redacted names of people who have liked it to protect my source). If you are doing to do something like this, you should use a real sign that you made. Don’t attempt to use bad Photoshop. It makes you look lazy and like you don’t really care about what you are trying to say. This image looks cartoonish, the way that the edge has been photoshopped around his fingers. I am also interested in knowing what the original placard said?
There is another point that I want to make. Paul is the only National MP that has blocked me on Twitter. He has also blocked me on Facebook. He has blocked me to the point that when I type int he URL for his profile, www.facebook.com/pfosterbell, all I get is this:
So even when he has blocked me to that extent, I am still able to obtain proof of social media mistakes. Let this serve as a warning to all MPs. Trying to hide your social media mistakes is futile. People will still find out.
