So I have been mulling an idea over in my head for the last couple of weeks. In 8 days time the 3 month regulated period for the 2014 election starts. From this point on I expect to see more and more election campaign orientated social media graphics. So I thought, why not run an Election Campaign Social Media Awards. So I am going to do that.
I have already approached a few people to help judge the awards, so as to make it as impartial as possible. However, if you want to be involved in it, feel free to email me: politics@matthewbeveridge.co.nz. Judging will be done via email discussion, after election day on 20 September.

I am open to suggestions on other categories, or amendments to the above categories. I will be looking for nominations. I am collecting tweets for my Post Grad research, but there will still be ones that I miss.
